Using an AirAdvice Indoor Air
Quality Monitor, HERS RATERS of Texas will monitor the air in your
home for airborne particles, volatile organic compounds, carbon
monoxide, and relative humidity in one-minute intervals for up
to a full week..
|
There are several
categories of indoor air pollution,
all of which can
affect your health.
These include the
following. |
 |
 |
Airborne particles such as pet dander, pollen, dust, smoke, bacteria, viruses, and mold spores can trigger or increase respiratory problems.
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted by many common household products such as cleaning agents, paint, new carpeting and furniture, just to name a few. VOC's can be very dangerous.
Carbon monoxide (CO) is released during inefficient or poorly vented combustion of almost any type of fuel. When present in a home, CO can cause flu-like symptoms and even death.
Humidity When humidity is too low, it can cause respiratory irritation and trigger asthma. High humidity can create conditions that allow the growth of bacteria and mold. |

At the conclusion of
the testing
period, the data
will be compiled into a detailed, user-friendly report . If an
air quality problem exists, we will be able to recommend the right solution. If no problem exists, you’ll have peace of mind. |
